Sitsongpeenong Thai Fighter Highlight 2012

Quite a ‘Tour De Force” of all of my videos. I can say this is one of my videos i am more than happy with, but there is still much room for improvement. Alot went into this video. Both hardware and software. I made plenty of use from with my new slider, flycam and Canon 60D. For my editing i absorbed a lot of inspiration from HBO Boxing 24/7, especially seen in the ending sequence with the silhouetted shadow boxing. I did a great turn of primary colour correction and then colour grading for some blown out highlights, bronzing and blues hues.

All in all, i think my best video to date. I’m still yearning for more narrative in my videos instead of these non linear videos in accordance to the beat of music. They lack the depth of a good story. . .

Born in Australia, training in martial arts since the age of 9. My first trip to Thailand was back in 2007. Since then i have made numerous visits back to the "land of smiles" to feed my addiction of Muay Thai. During the month of November in 2010 i had to decide between working a 9 to 5 job back home for the rest of my life, or sell all my worldly possessions and move to Thailand to live and train for the next few years. Thankfully i chose the latter. I now spend my time training Muay Thai, meeting new and interesting circles of people, sipping coconuts under palm trees on the beach and measuring the cost of everything on how much Pad Thai i could buy with that money.
