Ngoo Ditty In Fighters Only Magazine

Tiger Muay Thai’s very own trainer and fighter, Ngoo Ditty is featured in this months Fighter’s Only magazine. He has been featured amongst other rising MMA prospects from countires such as Hong Kong, South Africa, Siberia, Guam, India, New Zealand, and Pakistan. After 3 long years working as a Muay Thai trainer whilst improving his MMA skills, Ngoo is a BJJ Blue belt, with an amatuer record boasting 8 wins and 1 loss. Now as a Pro MMA fighter going 2-3, his loses have come from some of Asia’s top contenders.

I first saw Ngoo while training at Sinbi Muay Thai back in 2008-2009. He was up against one of the many Korean K-1 fighters training at Sinbi. I thought the Korean had a really good chance at taking the fight. Unfortunately he didn’t only lose, but he received a cranium crushing head kick KO from Ngoo. Goodnight. Don’t worry he got his own in the end and KO’d Kid Yamamoto the following year.

When i trained at Tiger later in 2009 i had the opportunity to roll around on the ground with Ngoo in this thing they call Jiu Jitsu. He was technical and tight . . . in a manly wrestling way. He ran all over me with his Jits. Not that I’m the best on the ground, but i was still surprised at how easily Kevin Belingon got into side control, continued to mount and then pounded out Ngoo in Martial Combat.

Either way, Congrats to Ngoo, and i’m looking forward to seeing him fight again soon.

Born in Australia, training in martial arts since the age of 9. My first trip to Thailand was back in 2007. Since then i have made numerous visits back to the "land of smiles" to feed my addiction of Muay Thai. During the month of November in 2010 i had to decide between working a 9 to 5 job back home for the rest of my life, or sell all my worldly possessions and move to Thailand to live and train for the next few years. Thankfully i chose the latter. I now spend my time training Muay Thai, meeting new and interesting circles of people, sipping coconuts under palm trees on the beach and measuring the cost of everything on how much Pad Thai i could buy with that money.
