JWP Thailand Documentary

Caught wind of this story just today. Sounds very interesting! John Wayne Parr just came back from another trip to Thailand and look what he had to say.
Just got back from Thialand after a amazing week. Thanks to my mates Jim Richards, Guy Norris, and Bayden for putting this together and Alan Conolly and Wade Mulcahy for putting up the money to back it.
The idea was go back in time and film everyone and thing that was important to me when I lived in Thailand. We got some amazing interviews with Mr Songchai, Toy from Sidyodtong, Yodsanklai, Seanchai. I also visited my main camp Loomingkwan where I trained along side Sangtien Noi where I was trained by Por Monch who only had one leg and his family. Also went to the famour Lumpinee stadium with the help of Stephan Fox was allowed to enter the stadium before it opened so I could explain how important it is for Muay Thai and lucky enough to be first Aussie to fight there. While at Lumpinee three different reporters asked for interviews (all in front of the camera’s so great timing). Two were for magazines, one was to come into the studio for Siamsport and do a 20min interview in Thai, we had our film crew filming their film crew filming me (confused yet).
On the days we had spare, we started shooting a feature movie that we just started working on. I got to work with two amazing stuntmen who have worked on many big productions, I was a little bit fish out of water, but once we started everything flowed well and nobody got hurt for real (in the movie though I get to mess them up).
Doco should take a few months to put together then work out what to do with the final product once done. Songchai was kind enough to let us have some of my old fight footage from back in the day, so I am super pumped to see what we can come up with.
Got some pictures up on my facebook of the week. If your not my friend yet write me a message and I will add you.
What would a post be without any photos?
