Fairtex Store
Posted in Blog, Buying Muay Thai Gear/Equipment on April 20, 2010
So the other day we went out to hit up Fairtex Bangplee and have a look at the store they have there. It was a long taxi ride from where we were staying, and i was expecting it to look the same as it did back in the day. Like a real old school gym, but it sure has changed a lot since then.
Now they have treadmills, elliptical trainers, rowing machines, yoga, aerobic dance, cardio kickboxing, 5 rings, spin bikes, real nice accommodation, swimming pool, internet cafe, locker rooms pool table and an area where you can buy protein shakes, Gatorade and the usual fruit juice and energy drinks.
This all sounds nice for those with money to burn, but if your on a budget it’s going to leave a big gaping hole in your pocket. Heres a run down of thier prices
- 2 Training sessions/shared fan accomodation/2 meals a day…7,700 baht a week per person
- 2 Training sessions/private fan accommodation/2 meals a day…13,300 baht a week
- 2 Training sessions/shared aircon accommodation/2 meals a day…10,150 baht a week per person
- 2 Training sessions/private aircon accommodation/2 meals a day…18,200 baht a week
Back to what we were there for, so here;s some pictures of the gym and what the store looks like and all the goodies they have for sale. Most T-shirts were in the 200-300 baht range and so were the Fairtex Jerseys. MMA gloves were just as expensive as the Muay Thai gloves costing you 1200-1400 baht.

Is there any difference between pro-shop-products between Bangplee & Pattaya?
Apart from that, for training packages, is there any price difference between the 2 camps?
Hey there Chin. The proshop at fairtex pattya far more smaller in comparison to the one in Bangplee. The Bangplee shop is alot bigger and stocks more equipment.
As for training packages, the Bangplee gym is alot more cheaper than the Fairtex gym both accomodation wise and training wise.
If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
Thanks, mate.
Now, i get the whole picture.
Hey Chin,
If you are in Phuket, check out Boyd’s shop. Phuket Fight Store. I can vouch for it being a great store with quality gear and the best prices in Phuket.
Better than getting ripped off by the Muay Thai Camp stores! haha
Check it out if you get the chance.
Sure. I’ve heard of phuket-fight-store, been to their websites several times, and I like it. I heard it’s the best place to get fight gear in Phuket.
I love the fairex gear. That shop is huge- Probarbly the most well setup muay thai shop in all of thailand. I have my own humble little shop in Phuket http://www.phuket-fight-store.com and we are going to stock as big a range as possible of the Fairtex gear. Great designs and fantastic quality
Hey guys, i was wondering what you think of the comparison of Boon vs fairtex equipment. Reason been i have fairtex almost exclusively in my gym but the last few orders were not the usual quality (thai pads tearing after just a few weeks) Bags showing wear and tear in the seems after just a couple of month. I remember boon as been really nice and high end in quality but not as easy to get in the states. Did you guys see the same drop off in quality with fairtex? Or did i just get a bad batch?
Thanks
Ty
Hey Ty,
cant help but think you got a bad batch or something- i like dealing with fairtex. Dont get me wrong Boon is all class and great quality, but fairtex just has a much larger selection of styles and designs.
I know from dealing with Fairtex that they have really good feedback and quick email replies.
If i were you id shoot them an email (prob sudaporn@fairtex.com) thats who i speak with for orders.
hope that helps.
Thanks, thats what i thought. I was not gonna give up on fairtex (just yet) lol for the obvious reasons as u mentioned larger selection, styles and for the most part availebillity in the States.
Thanks again
