Fairtex Jersey Review
Posted in Muay Thai Gear/Apparel, Reviews on October 8, 2010
Fairtex is a well known brand for it’s standout fighters, muay thai camps and their top quality muay thai gear. With sponsored fighters spanning the world and gaining recognition in both Muay Thai and MMA promotions, Fairtex has a certain monopoly over most other muay thai brands.
Fairtex’s official site describes their Jersey as

My Experience
I was at Fairtex Pattaya for my birthday this year. Unlucky for me, the night before it i had one of my only cases of food poisoning in Thailand. I skipped training that morning because i spent most of the night hanging out with the toilet. I guess your wondering “what has a romantic night with your toilet have to do with a Fairtex Jersey?”. Well because i missed the morning training session i was gladly surprised with a new Fairtex Jersey from a friend who was training with me. This is the same jersey that i see Yodsaenklai, Kaew and Narepol Fairtex wear all the time. I never had much interest in Fairtex equipment just because i saw them as very commercial and i liked the more niche market style of the lesser known brands that Thailand offered.
After training at Fairtex Pattaya for some time, i started to eye off these jerseys and finally i got my hands on one.
So what can i say now? I love them. I’ve had mine for 5 months now and it still maintains it’s amazing condition. It hasn’t lost any color or quality. On the front you’ll find a bold Fairtex screen print across the chest. It features fine mesh side panels that add to breathability. It hasn’t stretched or shrunk, there haven’t been any loose threads and no stitching has come undone and it has held it’s shape. The jersey is smooth polyester with a stretch type property to it.
I really can’t fault it. I have had no problems with it and it’s comfortable to wear. The jersey breathes easy so i don’t get too sweaty and sticky in it.
My Recommendation
Of course! If you like basketball jerseys and you like Fairtex then today is a good day for you. I even has a friend who has one color for every day of the week. The best thing is, it comes in 15 different color choice combination.
If your wondering where to buy them, you can find them on the internet for around $50 USD. If you want a larger selection of colors for a far cheaper price then your best off buying directly at Fairtex in Pattaya or Bangplee. The only problem with this is that they do not ship internationally.
So this leads me to your best choice if your willing to wait a bit for a bit and that’s to buy it from Phuket Fight Store. They are priced at a modest and very affordable 600 baht which equates to $20 USD! That’s a bargain compared to buying overseas. You’ll have to get in contact with Boyd from Phuket Fight Store to sort out shipping costs or to drop buy his store in Phuket Thailand. Yeah man, I live my Fairtex jerseys. They changed the cut a few years ago. Back in 2007 they ran a bit small, now they are longer and bigger. The current large size is the same as their old XXL size.
Haha i have a few friends who live in their jerseys also.
Very cheap to buy in Fairtex Bangplee and Pattaya.
But if your not in the area, your best bet is from phuket fight store.
